hi,

he is a reg and we have lots of history. I think that he barrels to often 3 streets but I guess I just have to give him credit.

If you think he 2nd barrelled a lot a raise on the turn could be a decent option, but as played you beat only Q high or worse on the river and is folding fine.

Depending on your reads I might fold this PF against a tight opponent.

I think the river is a pretty clear fold. A-High would be a more reasonable call.

The turn is the much more interesting street imo. We are holding pair + FD and a re-raise is reasonable, even though I actually prefer your line as we might be crushed and most of the hands we might get to fold to a raise loose to us anyways. There are clearly many cards out there we do not want to see at the river, but our hand is mediocre so I don't think we need to build the pot even further. I would raise a hand like A♣:3♣: here, especially because you argued that villain is too aggro. Well played!
