Did you say you started with $11 in December 2019 and now have enough to shot take at 25NL? Or do you mean you hope to take a shot at 25NL in the future should you get there?

If you are interested a FREE HUD could help you start your grind without laying out more money. Simply Google: Easy Poker Hud. It works on Pokerstars. It only has the main four stats but it is FREE and it will make it easier for you to target the fishes.

I did start an agresive BR with 11 dolars started at 2 nl and when i reach 50 dolars i took a shot of 4BI,when i reached 100 dolars i took a shot of 4BI at 10 NL,when i reach 200dolars i took a shot of 4bi at 16 NL of corse i had downswing as you can see in the graphic and when i reach 400 dolars i took a shot of 4BI 25NL...
My BR today is at 631.72 dolars so im still in shot mode at 25NL..after aprox 800 hand and a loosing of aprox 20dolars...i think i was still dreaming and didnt drink my morning coffe but i will play later and i will pots the results for all day later in the evening...

I see. That method of aggressive bankroll management is similar to rampaging although your method, while very aggressive, has a level of protection. I remember Pokerstrategy once recommended a similar bankroll method called tank rolling I believe. As long as you hit a positive variance curve you can climb the levels very quickly. But there is a higher chance of going busto also but when you weight the pros and cons it's worth the gamble if you can afford to reload in the event variance gets the better of you.

Hi guys!!
After a big upswing is coming ...

Spoiler

...A BIG downswing

what you guys recommand in this kind of situation?
STOP LOSS should be 1 of them i know...i was too tilted i think to stop...thinking that i can make it back after couple of hands...but the variance is so cruel somethimes that it make you pay!!!
I think i will stop playing for couple of days for mental recovery and study and analise the players...i found that some regs from my tables was 3 beting me allot and calling 4 bets in positions with marginal hands...i think i have to see how my fold to 3 bets is and how is my fold to CB in 3 bet pots...i think i have to add 1 more stat to my hud(villain floating% flop turn River)
my curent BR is 452.33 dolars now
and i said that i will have a shot at 400 for 4 BI...so i still have like 6BI to spare at 25nl
what you guys recommand to still play at 25NL or move down at 10NL or 16NL for some time?
in general i play 4 tables...should i play only 2 tables and focus more on opponents?
what do you think is the best way to deal when you are on a downswing?

I would suggest reviewing your biggest winning hands, and biggest losing hands for a start.

You may have already been posting hands in the forums, but if you haven't that is a good way to get feedback as well.

How's your mental game?
If you find yourself angry or depressed after a losing session take a break from playing and use the time to study, or to just do something different that you enjoy.

All the best,
VS

I’d stay there until I hit $400. So that I have 40 buyins.

You seem to be doing well but looks can be deceiving. I’m not sure that your style will hold up on the 25c games...

This could be wrong, but my guess is that: You prefer playing small pot poker. You make those little safe bluffs at times, but mostly you just play for value. You are good at this. Make some good calls etc.

You need to mix in more bluffs. You’re bleeding redline fast. I mean, I’m guessing everyone in the 25c games just folds to your 3bets. This means you should be 3bet bluffing all the regs often until they change their mind about you.

I can’t see your “raise postflop bet” number but my guess is that this is extremely low too. Around 4% again? As with your 3 betting, any half decent reg will fold anytime you raise so raise bluff them with all kinds of crappy hands that you would usually fold.

These are what GTO players call “leaks in your game”, but to an exploitative player they are more like tells. Your stats tell the villain that you raise strong, so to rinse them you gotta raise bluff, you gotta also slow play the nuts at times.

Your stats do look very promising, but you gotta mix in more of those big expensive scary bluffs. You gotta start trying to win redline.

what do you mean i stay there? at 25 NL till i get to 400 dolars?
i dont find “raise postflop bet”
is it this one?

Spoiler

if yes it looks like this...how much should be?

Spoiler

my ranges are build 50% bluffs 50% value..is it good or i have to bluff more?i do bluff less and 3 bet stronger range against those people who dont fold too much at 3 bets IP
i have allso a 4 bet bluffs and i do against ppl who are 3 betting too much...

i do try to bluff sometimes with some FD and OESD, when they donk small, or when they do CB on dry low boards
i think my river bet is too low...thats why my redline goes down

if you can give me some examples on some tipes of board with card removal it will be great...i tried to bluff manny times with Axo on mon boards but if the guy has the flush he will not fold!!!:))
JJ on 89Q board...
and on A high board ppl dont know to fold TP!!! if i start betting range CB they will call F,T,R,i got used to note them down when they tend to be calling stations and i will bet for value next times...:))

thank you for advices...if you find something in my game i will be glad to hear from you or from someone ellse who is willing to share with me his thoughts...

That post was very revealing... So...

The main problem with your game is your confused thought-process. You don’t fully understand the two types of strategy available to you:

The perfect all round strategy to use against all the villains is called GTO. This is the strategy you are opting for, but you are not using it well. The ratio of value to bluffs is not 50-50, it depends on the betsize used. If you bet pot they say that it wants to be 33% bluffs.

To learn GTO you need to plug all the different leaks in your game. You need to research the correct number of times to 3 bet in each seat. Or you could study using solvers. You need to find the correct play for all the different situations because if you don’t, an exploitative player will destroy you.

That’s what I am afraid you are about to witness... Your destruction at the hands of exploitative players.

You are not even exploiting at Level Two! This is very rare for someone in the 25c games and so I suspect that you won’t stand a chance in those games. Sorry, but I really don’t understand how you’re winning lol. This is a good thing, as it shows you must have natural talent.

At Level Two you need to put the villain on a range of hands. It’s this range that determines what we do with our own HAND. (When exploiting you dont care about your actual range, you don’t need to balance, you only need to consider the hand you hold). Each villain’s range is going to be unique and so the hands we can play against him for value will always be unique.

Level Two exploitation is very basic so I advise you to jump straight into level three. It’s at Level Three that you learn how to bluff.

At level three you need to follow your own perceived range, considering it before considering the villains range. For instance: if you can make yourself look like JJ+, the villain will fold his TT -

Once you are capable of this you should be fine all the way up to the $100 games at 888. You’ll have to learn Level Four before you can go higher.

I have come to accept that I am an exploitive master of never before seen proportions, and so I could literally teach you to beat those games in 5 minutes. Not everyone can learn so fast, but you seem open to learning and that is all I need. If you are perfectly open minded I can teach you all the exploitative theory I know in a very short time, but I’ve never met anyone capable of that.

So what’s it to be? You want me to teach you how to exploit? You want to study GTO?

This strategy you are using won’t cut it for long I promise you. You are a long way from GTO.

Something I can do, whether you want to use GTO or an exploitative style, is review all your stats and describe all your leaks, or tells, that the villains will use to destroy you. So far...

Your 3bet is mega low. GTO is closer to 11%. You are 3betting 4%! You need to add lots more value and bluffs if aiming for GTO, but if exploiting you just want to bluff regs lots and slow play value almost every time for a while because your perceived range will be very strong when you 3bet. If you choose the exploitative route here you will make lots more money.

Your postflop raise figure is better at 6.5% but GTO is probably closer to 15% so again you look very strong when raising postflop and so could rinse these villains by bluffing loads for a while.

You are calling lots of hands preflop. This is going to contribute heavily to your redline bleed. You need to sharpen up. GTO is going to be around 20% vpip. If you want to exploit you need to plan the later streets whilst preflop: if the villain is likely to attack the pot and leave you mostly just folding, then don’t call preflop.

With more stats I could tell more about you. If you click the “position” tab on HM2 you will give me many more stats. Some more postflop numbers would be nice too. Some numbers that show how often you fold both preflop and postflop.

If would always move down in stakes if I dropped below 40 buy-ins at the lower stake.

So, I would move to the $10 buy-in tables when I have $400.

This is a safe way to climb the stakes.

this is how my hud looks like...i dont know if they see the same hud or not ...

Spoiler

i will describe it a bit...example with CB 38|49[57] 38 means OOP | 49 means IP and57 means 3bpot

soon i will try to buy poker snowie as a solver...hope will help...i did used it before but didnt aply all the stuff in real poker because most of the time i try to play against recreationals and i try to exploit them more than regulars...

of corse i want to learn!!! thats why im here....i want to learn to count combos...i feel is a bit hard...do you know some youtube videos where they explain how to count them??
i want to learn how to discount hands from opponent range and pin point his actual range by position...
i want to learn as much as i can...i studdy my opponents off table, i try to see how they play different kind of hands and i take notes on them and try to exploit them when the time comes...but somethimes i dont have time and energy to do that...
