It looks like I couldn't do more as the player was 73BB :f_smile: not very likely to fold anyway.

PokerStars - $0.02 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 3 players

Hero (BTN): 245.5 BB
SB: 109.5 BB
BB: 73.5 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♥ A♣

Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6.5 BB, 2 players) K♦ J♥ 4♠
BB checks, Hero bets 3.5 BB, BB calls 3.5 BB

Turn: (13.5 BB, 2 players) 7♣
BB checks, Hero bets 6.5 BB, BB calls 6.5 BB

River: (26.5 BB, 2 players) K♣
BB checks, Hero checks

Spoiler

BB shows Q♣ K♥ (Three of a Kind, Kings)
(Pre 12%, Flop 20%, Turn 11%)
Hero mucks A♥ A♣ (Two Pair, Aces and Kings)
(Pre 88%, Flop 80%, Turn 89%)
BB wins 25.5 BB

I'd have played it thesame. Not likely to see another call from weaker hands on that river, so check behind is fine. I would have made slightly bigger flop and turn bets though.

When you want to go all-inn? Pre-flop makes no sense and post-flop is weird as well.
A thin value bet on river isn't to crazy on NL2, but bluffing isn't a good idea for sure.

id value bet the river for around 1/2p villain still has plenty of Jx to call with and you'll also get some calls from hands like 88 9 9 TT.
