Pretty weird line from him. I would always play it as you, except bigger raise on the flop.

IMO it's OK to go all in on the flop against the shortstack.
I would only raise a lil bigger but i don't think that would make a lot of difference in EV.

I think it's ok id play it the same as the others have said raise bigger on the flop or just put them all in on the flop

I’m surprised no one thought folding flop was an option , the guy is saying he really likes his hand , I actually guessed a crappy 2 pair he had here, a lot of bad players just play face up, so what’s his range? He would raise pre with AK and AQ most likely so then he flopped 2-pair or set, or he’s over-valuing top pair. Top pair top kicker not doing so great versus 2 pair + in equilab. Even though he is short stack doesn’t mean we can’t save money . Not losing money is the same as winning some.pretty typical of the blinds to hit these types of two pairs

I've seen so many things I'm not folding AK on this flop against a shorty. Ever.
