Shoving pre is +EV
Raising 3bb vs limp oop is +EV
Raising 2,3-2,7bb vs limp oop is +++EV..., if we realize all of our range 22bb deep (How are you gonna play JTo? preflop reasons - Raise 3x/call? Raise 3x/fold? check behind? all horendous options readless; now postflop reasons - you have lesser SPR, better playability, potential to either 2 barrel ´n shove or size big otf and then shove...)

@Krieg: you have to realize, that you give him a lot of room for improvement by betting small, then he can make a play even with nothing, as smaller sizing might induce him...
No worries, I mind none of this. For this I have an Ace in a sleeve which is called adjustment abiliity

Suggesting that 3x raise pre out of position is too large is strange.
ok, what does Axif actually say? Imho it should not be strange when we deduce implications of his opinion on oop plays and SPR

maybe I am just scared to play big pots OOP vs randoms haha
I tend to agree with Axif as well when it comes to playing OOP with too high SPR. It makes me think of a solution. Perhaps we might raise not as much as 3x! Do we need high Fold equity? Naah man. Do we need any FEq at all being limped to? NO! Check your T2o, take a look at flop for free and raise 2,6x depolarized range, where you like to be both called or folded to! Moreover your eventual T2o limper bluffraise has lower EV than 1st hand readless check and c/r otf with ATC trash in HU
So, once you think in ranges and not in a hand vakuum, you (almost) never want to bluffraise limper. Be depolarized and don´t (need to) be scared to play oop:f_thumbsup:
