A long time ago I opened an account at PokerStars using a pokerstrategy link and went broke. Recently I made a deposit and have been playing tournaments for almost a month. Am I eligible to receive strategy points? If not, how can I become eligible to receive them, since the reason I made the deposit in the first place was to earn strategy points.

I suggest that you create a customer support ticket Follow the link then click the 
beside "Open a new ticket"
Give them all the details you can, such as your PokerStars username, the date when you joined and so on.
Forum members -- even moderators -- do not have access to account information.
