The villain is an unknown.

So my plan was to raise/fold this river.

However, when it really happened, I still became lost.....

PokerStars - $0.16 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

MP: 98.5 BB
CO: 98.13 BB
BTN: 100 BB
SB: 100 BB
Hero (BB): 297.94 BB
UTG: 60.94 BB

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 3♦ 3♠

fold, fold, CO calls 1 BB, fold, fold, Hero checks

Flop: (2.5 BB, 2 players) J♥ 3♥ T♥
Hero checks, CO checks

Turn: (2.5 BB, 2 players) 2♥
Hero checks, CO checks

River: (2.5 BB, 2 players) J♠
Hero bets 1.81 BB, CO raises to 9.63 BB, Hero raises to 25 BB, CO raises to 97.13 BB and is all-in, Hero ???

Thoughts?

Lead the flop for pot, you are in a limped pot with a set on a monoton board, bascily any Qx,Kx,Ax FD calls not to mention the pairs.

I would call this on the river, he is a limper pre, there is a chance he will broke with any kind of A high flush, plus you beat 22 which is the most sensible hand played this way from his perspective ( I would assume two pairs and sets cbet the flop).

It really is better to build the pot earlier because then you can understand his range better. Especially against a limper like this player. So, to me this was a big mistake. Anyway, I called and he showed me Jc8d. I think he shoved for thin value and not as a bluff given that he limped in.
