Hi,

preflop
I think is ok.

flop
Playing check/call. Board is dry.

turn
Card doesn't change anything so I bet for value. Is that ok?
Villain raises small. Hard to fold.

river
Check/call 1/2 pot size. Or better fold?

I thought villain could have AK, KQ, KJ, maybe... other than that only set it likely, imo.
What would he bet with? Now I think only the nuts, or a complete bluff.

I would 3bet a size to 18bb (3.5x oop and 3x IP - a general guideline that I use.
I prefer to keep betting per value on the flop, but, as you said as the board is dry no big problems.
When he a re-raises on the turn the 1st thing that comes to my mind is the baluga theorem that states that facing a turn raise or check/raise, 1 pair hands are rarely good.
I know the average opponent in NL2, overplay second pairs and sometimes bottom pairs and because of that is difficult to know best river move.
Versus regular, I would fold on the turn
Versus fish go till the showdown

I guess you mean 9bb. He's just raising 2,5bb. If you make it 18bb it will be 36c and that's a really big 3bet.Flop I would Cbet against a random player and go for a bet, bet and shove approach for 3 streets.

Cheers,

A♦ A♠ spectacular pre flop trash post flop :f_cry:

I'm against slow play because fish always pay so I will c-bet 1/2 pot if opp reshoves just instacall

if opp just call bet the turn 3/4 pot, if opp reshoves click the call button as fast as you can so you will not time out :f_drink:

again, if opp just call, there's no other way around but to get all the chips in this kind of run out. if you lose we just have to bang anything we can hold onto but not our laptop so we can still play and get our money back.

So hard to play Aces if you get this kind of action but we can't fold because most of the times opp don't know what they are doing and they just want to get it in with their top pair or even middle pair

good luck in your games :f_drink:
