I perceived villain as quite aggressive.
He/she has raised my cbet before.
Still cbet OTF?
OTT I didn't want to get x/r'd again so I check back. The flush draw completes and I do not want to play for a huge pot. I also thought I might induce a bluff.

What do I do OTR? Can I call the overbet?

I think that the time to bet is the turn.
You have showdown value, so putting in the bet on the 3rd spade isn't out of line.
If you get raised, then he must have something, since raising as a bluff seems to me quite rare at NL 2

I would bet the turn as well for value and protection. River is nasty, but he/she must be crazy to over bet bluff here. Against a aggressive villain I wouldn't mind a call.

It's actually pretty rare for people to double check raise but villain can be checking sets id expect them to bet the flushes so i think checking is a reasonable line.But if you bet the turn for say 1/2p we extract value gain some protection and take control of the pot as villain now checks river to us most of the time and we can take our showdown value.
