Good morning pokerstrategy community.
Today I talked with a person that is involved into cyber security and a bunch of other stuff related on internet and users security.
Basically as soon as I told him I play poker on line he warned me that the main reason why there are such things on the web is because having a normal user connected hours per day is great for others that take advantage of it, not because there is something to steal from our laptops but because our connection can be used if needed somehow to hide someone else s business.
I did not try to debate but indeed I have to say that since I started studying and working on my poker game I spent A LOT of time on my computer. Now, I played and studied for months, hired 2 coaches, had a lot of ghosting sessions, went through hand discussion basically every day, and since I do not think I have any brain limitations, I am really wondering if this game is gonna end up being worth playing, money wise, or it is only a time waster. I love the fact that the game it s an endless puzzle with pre defined patterns, and I do love the fact that I beat lower skilled players and higher skilled players have an edge on me.But it seems like no matter how much i do focus and strive, and even though my skill level really reised consistently , I still am a break even player. It s demotivating to realize that no matter how I try to overcome my leaks, keep fixing, movin on, the results never show up.
Please give me honest replies.

The rake is what makes poker so difficult to beat if your break even it means your beating the player pool by what 10bb/100 ?

Search for some free materials on PLO8 and play some tournaments. Report back after. 
That is not possible, I studied harder only March and April during the lockdown and I improved so much and beat all the limits I played. Maybe you try to study from better places I guess
Are u saying that after two months of study u are constantly beating the limits you are actually playing ? If so I d like to see a report of your last 3 months, that would really help me mentally to maintain the good attitude
Yes, I went from 10 nl to 50 NL and I am beating it with around 3 bb 100 which is not great but not terrible. I am still watching videos daily, but that`s all I am using to study now
Actually do do think as well 3bb /100 is neither grate nor terrible. Are u 3bb/100 on what samplesize? 10k hands or more?
A lot depends on your expectations.
If you expect to be able to live off your online poker winnings, you'll be disappointed.
If you enjoy the game, and enjoy the intellectual challenge, and have the mental ability and discipline to learn and apply what you learn, you'll also enjoy a small profit.
3-10 BB/100 above rake is decent for micros, but you'll never retire on your winnings.
At NL 200 the same win rate will be enough to live on -- even for me in Western Canada.
Problem is, I can't afford to take even 1 20BI downswing at NL 200

It`s on 100 k hands. I think it can be more, but I am happy even with that winrate. I live in Bulgaria where the avarage salary is around 500-600 euro and I make more playing 3-4 hours per day so I am ok with that winrate. The rakeback is around 30% I guess so I am even ok if am breakeven
It is possible to make a nice living out of poker. But it's almost the same as running a successful business. You are the CEO of your own company. You need to invest A LOT of time, effort, money, support from mentors/coaches (it ain't free) and so on, especially if you want to progress relatively quickly. If you think you can start your business today and become a millionaire tomorrow, this ain't gonna happen. Same stands for poker. Small steps, long term goals, staying humble and a lot of work.

Having read that somewhere, I decided not to try to become a professional.
I had run a small computer business for about 8 years in the late '80s and early '90s
Running your own business means you're at work all the time.
No vacations either.
