Just got this challenge whereby if you earn 1250 redemption points you are awarded USD 50.
Is this something everyone gets? Is it random or do they target specific players? Wonder what the requirements to be chosen for such challenges are since this is the first time I got this and I've been playing again consistently on PS since almost a year now.
It looks player specific. I need to earn 250 redemption points to get $20.
Could be that I don't play much and it's based on with chest you can earn on this moment. I play for blue chests.

I have the same offer, but I am at the brown chests(2lvl?).
It(250 for 20$) converts to 40% rakeback, am I right?
But 1250 rp for 50$ is "only 25%?!
All of the offers I've seen so far amount to 40% rakeback.

The problem with this challenge is if you succeed to clear the challenge at least twice, next month the required redemption points will double. I have cleared the challenge for 500 pts twice (2*40€). Now I had to do at least 1000 pts for 80€, which is quite tought in nanolimits. And it seems it won't be halfed back to the initial amount if you don't clear the challenge at least once (I didn't play the last 2 months and the required points is still 1000) So getting 40% rakeback is nice but it's a nasty incentive for putting volume.
So if you don't want the challenge to be tougher next month, you should only clear it once!

I failed to complete my last challenge, and haven't checked to see if I even have one.
April 30 is tax deadline for Canadian taxpayers, and I have (at least) 3 returns I need to complete.
With a little bit of luck I will claim the bonus this time as well. I expect if I use my $1.050 ticket this weekend that $50 rake is enough.
It's a little bit off topic, but I would most likely play around 21.00h CET this evening.
