If you sign up using a PokerStrategy.com link, your account is the same as everyone else's account that didn't.
Except that other's don't get the free money offers or bonus offers.
If you're concerned that other sites might have better offers, check them out.
However, considering the wealth of material here, and the best (IMHO) offers here, there is no disadvantage.
If you sign up to a site without using a bonus offer, you miss out on all the benefits not just at the start, but for the long term also. For example, I signed up with PokerStars before I heard of PokerStrategy.com and I've missed out on all the benefits for the past 12 years. ♠_cry:
