PokerStars - 25/50 Ante 6 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

CO: 32.06 BB
BTN: 32.5 BB
Hero (SB): 19.42 BB
BB: 96.02 BB

4 players post ante of 0.12 BB, Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.98 BB) Hero has Q♥ K♠

fold, fold, Hero raises to 2 BB, BB calls 1 BB

Flop: (4.48 BB, 2 players) Q♣ J♣ J♠
Hero bets 2.24 BB, BB calls 2.24 BB

Turn: (8.96 BB, 2 players) 5♥
Hero bets 4.48 BB, BB calls 4.48 BB

River: (17.92 BB, 2 players) K♦
Hero bets 10.58 BB and is all-in, BB calls 10.58 BB

This is a hand against a loose calling station. I think i made the worst decision on the river for two reasons, first K completes lots of his draws, now he was more hands that beats me and extracting value from some Qx it seems far too optimistic and Kx there shouldn't be that much. The other reason is that i have many more hands that i can shove for value in this spot that i think i have to check most of the time to call vs good players and fold vs most of weak players like this. Can i choose a diferent line at any point of the hand?

You can also size up pre-flop with a raise of at least 2,5x and even a shove isn't to crazy with in mind you get often a hard time post-flop out of position against the chip leader. Now you give villain really good odds to defend with any 2 cards.

If you raise at least 2,5x pre-flop you can Cbet around 4bb on flop. Than you can shove the turn for less than a pot size bet.
