Hello,

please check this hand :

Pré I decide to 4bet which is fine I guess
flop is not that good but I guess he would have shoved AKs, KK+ so it's reasonable to believe he can have AQs, JJ. It's thin I know
betsize is small 1/4 pot

Turn I slow down because his JJ won't call 3 streets

River he donks as the flush comes in and the board is paired, I'm never good here.

I don't think it's bad to just check behind QQ on the flop and call 1 street on the turn to keep the pot under control and this way villian has a wider range on the turn as well. I don't expect villian will continue with hands like 99-JJ if you Cbet or you have reads on him/her. Those hands could bluff on the turn as well and semi bluffs as well.

Cheers,

Is AK, KK+ a 100% shove here? I'm not sure it is but I don't play at these stakes.
