Nah, not me.
Nut flush draw with a gutshot for added flavour.
My inner spewtard might even raise against the right opponent.

Mind you, I don't play NL 50 all that often...

Against a tight villain I would fold the turn for sure. 15 outs to win, but if you hit the straight it's tough to get value.

Cheers,

15 outs to win? You counts 3x A too?

9x for FL - 77% outs is 100% nuts
3x 8 for STR, - no nuts - 8 could help to opponet too if he has J
3x A for top pair - but opponent could have better A.

Maybe I saw outs there aren't really outs. 12 outs is most likely better, but 3 are dirty indeed.

BTN range is mainly TT,99,77,JJ,ATs for value (where JJ and ATs becomes quite thin) and QJs, KsQs, KsJs, 98s, 87s as bluffs, I'd say, generally weighted towards a value heavy range. (I guess there is less bluffing in MV 3BPs)
Vs that range, I think you have some implied odds, but not much fold equity.
So I'd definitely call.
You are drawing to the nuts.
Pot odds are 26%.
You have 9 outs for the flush, which gives you ~19% direct equity. (some outs might be dirty, making a boat for V, but then you have some additional straight outs, not sure how to account for that)
However, the fact that you are OOP makes it harder to realize your implied odds, obviously. But can you really fold here???

What happened, did you jam?

I like calling Flop to invite CO calls behind.
BTN VPIP is the most important guideline OTT. Vs loose BTN, the Q, J and K of spades are so in his range, especially when CO folds and we can donk-shove the Turn.
But that's not the case with this BTN.
Good fold IMO.
I'm interested what others think, :f_thumbsup:

mucking the turn is probably better since some spades can give boats to his trips, making our odds worse and we already needed to rely on implied odds to make a turn call, if a 4 or 7 of spades comes it may not help.

Ahoi,

just to think about:

Would a JAM on the Flop make any sense?
Folding such a high amount of Equity, especially in a low SPR-Pot, is not a great thing.

Hero may not have much Fold Equity, but at least he has some Fold Equity.

What would be the worst thing that could happen? Both Opponents calls.
But even then, we will have approx. 35% against both perceived Calling-Ranges.

de.pokerstrategy.com
Board: Ts9s7c
Equity Win Tie
MP2 35.17% 34.85% 0.31% { As6s }
CO 25.06% 24.22% 0.83% { JJ+, ATs, KsQs, KsJs, QsJs }
BB 39.78% 38.94% 0.83% { TT-99, 77, JdJs, JhJs, ATs, QTs, JTs, T9s, KsQs, KsJs, QsJs }

And the Pot would be 338BB minus Rake -> Pot after Rake is taken out: ~ $166 or 332BB
Rake in Germany is 6,25% and the Cap is $2,51 (Rake is high in Germany, but maybe a bit lower in other Countries)

Heros share of the pot in this worst case szenario (both opponents are top of the range an won`t fold a hand) -> ~ 116BB
Maybe a bit more or less. Maybe both Opponnents don`t have any TP+GS and only call with 2pair+ . And maybe they don`t call with a dominated Flush-Draw.
But in this case we SHOULD have some fold Equity.

greetings

honestly I just fold pre. Yes you get 3way odds but you have less equity too. What's the best you could hope for. Such a flop (which isn't even that great). You don't have much room to bluff when both players typically have AK/AQ + all higher pocket pairs, meaning that you can only rekt them on flush boards and 66X boards - not a lot of playability for you.

Postflop: This is interesting: He seems nitty from his PF stats. His range is probably JJ/QQ mostly, and occasionally he has KK/TT/99. AA probably 4bets.

The question you need to ask yourself is
a) If you raise Flop, do you have Fold Equity vs JJ/QQ? Does he stab AQ and AK on this board and fold to raise?
IF your answer is yes to either one, then check/raise is good. If you think he is tight and usually has an overpair that he never folds, then the better play is to play passive and call, and consider leading when improved.
b) If you check-call Flop and check-raise Turn, could you rep a set and make him fold JJ/QQ? If the answer is yes, you might want to consider this line instead.

I don't think this dude falls into either category -> raising generates insufficient fold equity -> I rather wait for good runouts to get the money in good. Of course if you suspect you still have some fold equity, raising can never be a massive mistake.
