Any info on the villian in this hand would be nice.
Against a passive villian i wouldn't mind the value Cbet on the turn, but than you need to fold to a raise or shove. Villians min raise is really suspicious and villian is committed aswell. That makes it obious that villian has trips here.

It was literally one of my first hands against villain, no information available. That being said, I cannot consider him passive as a default, right? hence no default barrel?

could you explain what it is about him being committed?

Would not mind to check turn if we don't attempt to triple barrel for value. Turn x-r versus second barrel tend to be very value heavy. Especially in board where bluffs are unlikely so villain will have trips almost always. Kx would likely call or fold.
