His stats by memory was like 16/11/3B:9 or something.

GG Poker - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 100 BB
SB: 544.2 BB
Hero (BB): 103.2 BB
UTG: 63.64 BB
MP: 103.08 BB
CO: 100 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has T♥ T♦

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB raises to 2.32 BB, Hero raises to 8.92 BB, SB calls 6.6 BB

Flop: (17.84 BB, 2 players) 6♣ 7♥ 8♦
SB checks, Hero bets 6.28 BB, SB calls 6.28 BB

Turn: (30.4 BB, 2 players) 3♣
SB checks, Hero bets 15.84 BB, SB raises to 529 BB and is all-in, Hero ? ?

I don't think he has the nuts on turn, I have blockers to the nuts.

He may have a set. He may have 9x/99? He may have JJ.

This one had my brain stirred, lol.

Thoughts?

It is unlikely he has the straight — he would need to have 59 for that — or 54 I guess — that would (or should) never call a 3Bet
OTOH, opponent is dead certain you don't either.
How aggro is this player?
Could SB do this with a nut flush draw AcXc could play this way.
JJ-AA would likely 4Bet I would think.

99 or 9x is way down the likelihood scale I think.
You've put in 1/3 your entire stack — how happy are you to see the river?

T9s seems reasonable, but with a blocker it's tough to give villain credit for a straight. Read less I would call, but it's tricky for sure.

honestly, even with the blockers ... It somewhat sucks, but he's got you beat most of the time. 99 would be a stuoid hand to raise with, 9x is only a tiny part of his calling range oop AND a player like this usually does not have the guts to play it fast. just b/f the turn. one could even argue fur xb and call many rivers, since his caaling range of hands that you beat seems narrow too.

so what did he have? I'd bet my money on a set.

Well, I understood that you are not supposed to fold, in theory, but I guess it depends on your in-depth read of the particular villain this one being a nit and all. I plug it into a solver, and the solver prefers a 100% call on turn, like I guessed. It doesn't mean that you should always call though.

River: (206.4 BB, 2 players) 3♠

Players agreed to run it twice.

River #2: (206.4 BB, 2 players) Q♦

SB shows 9♥ 9♠ (Two Pair, Nines and Threes)
Board #1 (Pre 18%, Flop 24%, Turn 14%)
(One Pair, Nines)
Board #2 (Pre 18%, Flop 25%, Turn 14%)

Hero shows T♥ T♦ (Two Pair, Tens and Threes)
Board #1 (Pre 82%, Flop 76%, Turn 86%)
(One Pair, Tens)
Board #2 (Pre 82%, Flop 75%, Turn 86%)

Hero wins 101 BB
Hero wins 100.96 BB

The solver prefers larger bets on flop and turn. 10BB on flop and 25BB on turn. That's insightful.

I agree to run it twice because TT is like one of the worst PPs to go up against for 99 on this board, I'd rather see AA than TT in V's shoes. I think 99 should CC/CC/CC or CF.

Interesting shove on the turn with this holding. He merges his range and turns his overpair into a bluff. If he wants to do so, he'd rather c/raise the flop and stick it in on the turn. but I think x/c x/c and x/f river is much better anyway.
