You got unlucky here but normally you let the opponent fire away and you win a small to medium sized pot on river.

Any info on the villain in this hand would be nice. Read less you can 3bet pre-flop to like like 12bb out of position, but than you play a big pot out of position if villain called and you need to fold against a 4bet or shove.

As played I would most likely call the turn against a pot size bet. If you raise you will play for stacks and is shoving most likely better. On a 3bet shove like now you are committed.

Villain is 25/25 (12 hands)

Before you raise your two pairs you should look at board and his sizing. He is making pot sized bet and he has all sets and straights in his range. Your top two is only bluffcatcher at this point and raising looks like overplay. He shoves and you are in super tough spot - because you pray to have 70-30 against monster draw instead of having 4 outs against set/straight.
