UTG QQ on A-high flop in position

I go check, check, check/call or check/fold.

i like the turn bet. if u go small u can vbet river too. if u decide to xb turn u can vbet 75%-pot on the river.

as played when he donk pot river i would go with fold readless. just a few ppl capable bluffing like this in my experience and u do not beat any value.
you should have weak Ax in your xb range on the flop and u can call with those but still not a happy situation (but u shouldn't fold range).

That's a optimistic play of the villain in this hand. It would work out a lot, but not against you.

It's terrible to flat that on BB unless you had a read that you can outplay whomever is opening on UTG.

I suspect that I was the one that opponent thought that could be outplayed.
 I have almost no recent hands at this limit
 I show as quite tight, and fold a lot post-flop. No pair, no draw, no play is pretty much where I'm at when playing above my pay grade.
 If I knew that this player was trappy, his river bluff would have worked. I have to win at showdown half the time to break even

You are not just playing against somebody but also against an actual range(UTG) so that's why you could be lighting money on fire, especially at these stakes.

And even weirder playing 120 BB deep OOP with no equity

i'd snap it off, smells like a bluff to me.

BB offen call with soft Ax hands. So check on the flop with A looks OK.
Opponent river bet is pot bet big, why big bet like so. if he had strong hand would be better check/rise you, you are on the way and you are betting.
With soft hand he could bet like this.
If the bet would be 1/3p - call it easily for proce, 2/3p - fold, pot - think about call/fold.

I'm maybe checking back turn but I like the way you've controlled the pot, makes calling the river an easier.

V seems like a fish with that hand so with hindsight the turn is ok, could probably just make it bigger for value tbh
