Cau guys
im not sure in this one. Villain probably reg, just 75 hands 19/13/0

pf: just hypotetically, if anyone 3bet/squeez, do you always push it with rockets or is it OK sometimes just to call only and have more opponents in with best hand. Depends on their stats, right? Honestly I push usually, I don´t want to have probelms..
f: anyway, easy cbet, value from draws and Q, for protection and many opponents in game sizing could have been even bigger
t: bad card for me, gives possible 2nd pair to Q, but still so many draws, cbet is OK for me
r: not sure what worse calls my 3rd cbet, I wanted to play x/call some noral sizing, this is tricky, I dont expect sets which he would have raise somewhere, rather flush, KQ...

thanks

Hello,

Pf against a SQZ it is EV+ to 4bet with the majority of villains in micro limits. They will pay you and push many times.

On the turn you still have a lot of value draws.

River, your perceived range is very strong Cbetting in Mw pot and on two streets, so if Villain wants to bluff he has to do it big.

Do this drill, give him a value range and a bluff range, and we're still talking about the hand.

The :spade: flush isn't really something I'd put in his range. What would he call flop that rivered the flush? Think he'd need a something more than an empty backdoor to call you and definitly he did't call you with a Q♠ combo.

The board isn't to comfy for 66 or 22 to not raise you, specially OTT, but I accept he could have it, easy.

Honestly, I can only see him betting sets, K♥Q♥ or trying to buy the pot. Think any value hand would go for max $2.50, so I'd be leaning towards a call, but I lose a lot of money on spots like this.

How wrong would it be a $1.50 bet/fold? I think this way you'd "block" his bluffs. That bet wouldn't be to extract value from worst hands, would be only so that you can control the SD price.

Hello,

The villain tends to be a reg NIT, being a Mw pot and a flop that brings many draws I think that most of the time a set raises them; His range will be more TP and projects especially that you don't block the Ah.
On the turn KQ is in his range and I would think he raises it right there most of the time, but also FD and some Qx that could call while IP.
On the river he arrives with medium pairs with value to the SD, Qxs and 9xs of hearts that I doubt he will push, he will play chbh. That's why I remove them from his pushing range.
Now, what do you push? doubles (KQ and Qh9h), straight with ThJh and busted.
The equity of our hand will depend on whether he pushes his entire range of busted FD, if he is able to push all the worthless Ahxh to the SD we have 42% and the call would be profitable because we have to win 36%.

Against this profile I think I'm playing x/f because he's not going to push his busted so many times or bluff meekly to make it EV+; being that your perceived range is very strong.

You could play bet33% of the river pot looking for a TP or Middle pair call, since it is also a player profile that is usually passive.

It's tough to 4bet without someone that's 3betting pre-flop. Anyway without much info you could size up a little bit on te flop to 3/4 pot if you deal with some calling staton and shove the river for thin value,.

Hello,

Yes, I was just answering the hypothetical question:

With AA I would 4bet for sure if that would happen. Especially with more villains behind like now, but with 'if' you would win every hand :f_wink:

2 pair or a set might check back the river, but those might raise the turn. Jh Th will that shove here? I'm thinking v either hit a backdoor flush or has zero showdown, like 7h 8h. Seems like a good spot to bluff, but how many players are capable of bluffing here?

Just remember that your EV with AA decreases with every additional player that you invite in the pot by just calling!
This is a golden rule! If your EV is 80+% vs 1 player, it gets to 60+% vs 2, etc...
So you do not want to invite additional players!
You are playing NL5, so play straitforward and do not do funky staff! :)

Hello,

There are no sword combos that I would flush with.
I don't think he'll take 4s5s or call pf then flop with As6s

This is also the reason I believe the fold vs his shove is good. I barely ever see players make these big bets with blufs on NL5, people play very straightforward and very often a big bet translates to a big hand.
