I would most likely 4bet a little bit more like $1,50 and go for it pre-flop.
As played I would normally Cbet around $1,25 and re-evaluete on further action.
Now I would most likely fold the river with 2 pair. You can't beat any J or Q.
It's also interesting what you're own thoughs was during the hand.

On flop can cbet with small sizing.
I don't think that he bluff river in this spot. We lose vs a lot of hands here (like KQ, AQ, JJ, AJ, QQ, TT, AA, KK). And this board is better for 4bet range.
So for me is easy fold on river.
