A bit OffT first.. Is there any way to get this page in english? It's like 70% german ?( ?(

____

Okay so here's the hand. like 5-6 hands into the tourney, no reads, all unknown opponents. I have AQo, UTG limps and it folds around to me in the SB. Do I just fold it or complete to try and see a flop?

This is how it played out.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 2+0.25 Tournament, 15/30 Blinds (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP1 (t990)
MP2 (t1550)
CO (t1460)
Button (t1800)
Hero (SB) (t1580)
BB (t1440)
UTG (t970)
UTG+1 (t1850)

Hero's M: 35.11

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q, A
UTG calls t30, 5 folds, Hero calls t15, BB checks

Flop: (t90) K, 6, J (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets t30, UTG calls t30, Hero calls t30

Turn: (t180) 10 (3 players)
Hero bets t90, BB calls t90, 1 fold

River: (t360) J (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks

Total pot: t360

Results in white below:
Hero had Q, A (straight, Ace high).
BB had A, 8 (one pair, Jacks).
Outcome: Hero won t360

Also, after some thinking, I basically hate my guts for checking the river. In retrospect it seems like an obvious valuebet situation; played it way to passive. Also the call on the flop, on a scale from 1 to 10, how awful is it?((not joking btw).

What do you think of this? Sorry for the bad play; not fun to evaluate these hands I'm sure. :f_frown: (I hate that there's no :emo_shark: ;D)

hi,
raise it preflop
as played i would raise about 120-140 on turn
on river i prefer raise/shove but check raise is fine aswell imo
regards peter

Hm, you really wanna raise AQo with a UTG limper?
I hate AQo just cuz it plays so bad OOP post-flop, so I usually just muck it in SB vs. limper(s)/raiser(s).

I can't really raise the turn as I'm the one that's betting, but I'm guessing you mean I should bet 120-140.

Any comment?

utg limping in general is not that strong, even less at this blind stage. normally he will have a pocket pair or some mediocre broadway type hand.

raise preflop , as played bet 2/3 on turn and bet river.

Sounds reasonable. Thanks : )

nothing more to say :)

The only problem I see is that he is in a bad position on a flop. If he raised preflop, he has cbet on flop even though he hasn't hit anything. So - (c)bet/fold after flop I presume?

Still isn't that big of a problem at that blinds with people raising with overcard and medium kicker. :)
