That turn sucks!
I think the reason you're betting is exactly the reason why you shouldn't (OTT). Would you bet, after his flop raise, if you hitted the str8?
Is not 100% certain that villain loved that turn, it may be as hard for him as it was for you and he slows down (but I guess this is the reason you betted and opened for exploitation)

As played, you have a weak bluff-catcher in an underbluffed spot (imo) -> fold

Bigger bet on the flop 75%. As played you could consider a fold on the flop. Even against semi bluffs your hand doesnt stand well. Why do you donk on the turn? I will rather check fold there

I would most likely raise pre-flop a little bit more like 3,5bb without position, but not sure why you lead the turn when you aren't the aggessor and you wouldn't mind to get a free river with the straight draw.
