I do hope you made a note that CO can 3Bet/Call a suited 3Gapper!

Pre is fine. On the flop your c-bet sizing is way too high in my opinion. The board is relatively dry, I would not go larger than 1/3th pot here. I'd like to keep his range wide and get called by hands like 99/TT/JJ/QQ, some weaker Kx. Like $1,50 - $1,60 is enough. When they jam I realize I don't have 44 and 77 in my range. I call this off with AA/KK and AK. He can have some flush draws to do this with, maybe some 65s that decided to 3-bet bluff and gamble vs your 4-bet. We don't really want to c-bet/fold on this flop with AK.

As played, the money goes in and we get unlucky. Nothing to see here.

Not sure if I understand, you would have folded flop here to their jam?

Uhhm no, I'm trying to explain why we really can't fold to the jam.

okok then we agree. I'm used to overbetting flop as people don't fold... but I really can wrap my head around the fact that this guy 3bet and called a 4bet with 74... and was rewarded for it .. either you know the cards that will come out on the board or it doesn't make sense.

Hold'em is a bit different than 5-Card Draw, but still...

OTF you have Top Pair. That hand — A pair of kings — is in the top 11% of all possible hands
OTT you have AAKKx which is in the top 2.9% of all possible hands.

so you had a great hand, you played it well, you hit your flop, improved on the turn and still lost.

opponent had a crap hand, played it like an idiot and still won.

"A fool and his money are soon parted" — opponent won't keep it for long.

I don't think I can fold the flop. Even if you made a €2 cBet.
Now you are committed. It's a interesting play of the villain this time. Calling a 4bet with suited crap for 1/4 of villain stack is optimistic for sure.
