GG Poker - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 122.4 BB
SB: 93.84 BB
BB: 111.96 BB
UTG: 428.04 BB
Hero (MP): 115.12 BB
CO: 129.12 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has 8♥ 8♠

UTG raises to 2.52 BB, Hero calls 2.52 BB, fold, BTN raises to 12.48 BB, fold, fold, UTG calls 9.96 BB, Hero calls 9.96 BB

Flop: (38.84 BB, 3 players) 6♠ 4♥ 2♦
UTG checks, Hero checks, BTN bets 20 BB, fold, Hero calls 20 BB

Turn: (78.84 BB, 2 players) 4♦
Hero checks, BTN bets 89.92 BB and is all-in, Hero ? ?

The villain is 30/24/ATS:69/3BET:21, 123 hands

I only noticed the villain after the 3bet but the V loves to bluff big, and I did catch him few times before, and UTG stays on the sideline watching the whole hand because of the bluffer in the hand.

Some of the bluffs that I saw before made no sense though. Like, no blockers, no outs. The V seems to get triggered by my betting patterns.

What do you think about these super read dependent hand?

I would definitely fold here if I didn't have this read.

Why just flat the flop?
If you're going to call OTT, check/raise the flop, and if you really think BTN is full of πŸ’©just jam it.
If you're behind you still have two outs.

I decided to peel one and call off on a safe card. Maybe my hand is not strong enough for this but if my opponent is very bluff heavy, I don't wanna discourage it. So, that's why I did not CR on flop.

See how the UTG player stays on sideline to watch and stick Emoji? We do like to watch and learn.
That's the third big bluff I caught him with. Someone like this will capitalize on their high frequency bluff later on if they know what they are doing. However, I did make one mistake. I don't think I should've cashed out like I did. But since this is the third time that I caught his bluff, I thought he was gonna hit one on me. lol

I play against players like this regularly, very aggro and very bluffy, you kinda never know where you stand, so when you get a hand like this you have to go with it. Even if the turn was a high card, its hard to fold vs them as they take it as another opportunity to bluff. If the hand played out different, UTG shoves pre I fold, or if UTG calls on the flop, I fold, as he is trying to do the same thing I am.

Their bluff and value line is the same so they will get some back at some point. IF they no what they are doing and most of the time they don't. I have one player who hates me (and he isn't well liked by many of the other players) and tells other players in the chat to (when I am in a hand) "JUST BET HE WILL FOLD"

The other site I play, I don't have this as a backup, so I take the beat (if there is one) and reload.

That UTG player is lol. He is basically helping me make calls by saying the shove is good luck. Of course, we shouldn't talk about this too much.

This is underbluffed line but against spewy player I think its ok, especially if you unblock all broadways he will use to bet.

Good one. That's something to think about in these situations.
