I think you are worrying too much 'what if I got raised?'. Its completely groundless because your typical nl25 player wont bluff raise in this spot enough to give you tough spot. On the other hand they may not valuebet AQ/AK on river so your default action should be bet, even for 1/3.

I get your thought behind the no 3 bet pre. I sometimes do this when i have a bigger sample on villains, when i have some small samples i normally play more aggressive.

2 ways to play IMO, first way, as you did bet flop, once turn comes, and finishes, a possible str8, IP i am betting 2/3 pot. what's to say you didn't 3 bet with KQ. if you get reraised fold. I think i would also, bet the river NOT A JAM, maybe blocker bet for value 33%-55%.

second way- check flop, delay cbet turn for half pot to 2/3 pot, then POT size bet river. you do have a good value hand with 2 pair, you kind of really don't block any str8 hands. But we are playing that if tight villain makes the small str8 or nut str8 you are going to want to hear something from him. IF nothing he could have AK,AQ, 2 clubs.

When i have a small sample size on villain's i really don't pay attention to them, I try to make villain tell me something during hand. IS this all makes sense

But I don't have TT at all — are you're saying I should take this line to rep TT?

Your line though is likely the correct one, and if I had taken it, I likely would not have seen the showdown (or even the river)
