Hi guys I’m going to start a blog here, well I’m already have a blog but in the Spanish community and now I’m going to write on English too because I want to practice my English redaction and maybe make friends on this community too who knows.
Obviously English is not my first language so if anyone sees any mistakes in my spelling or feels that I could improve my writing in any way, just say so.
Well, as I said before in my Spanish blog, I don’t have to do any challenges, my only goal is just study Spins and climb levels, although if I get to play in nosebleeds Spins would be great for me and my bank account.
I was thinking on doing a personal challenge but I think is stupid, in the morning I wrote to my friend Miles on Whatsapp who lives in London (we have been friends for more than 7 years I think so I trust on his advice) I told him to give me amount of money to live in Shoreditch and he told I need minimum 27k£ per year to live in that zone but I think I need much more for Shoreditch I don’t know why I like that zone or maybe is just because I like the name I don’t know.
Well here comes the first question: what level of Spins should I play to live in Shoreditch?
Do you see why I say that it’s a stupid challenge?
Anyway… I think I'll just focus on climb the Spins levels and see how far I get in this year.
I love to read a lot of manga and manhwa I also watch anime so you will see a lot of references here, I also like to read fantasy books lately I was reading a book called Mistborn: the Final Empire by Brandon Sanderson and it is very good, I think I'm going to read all the books that belong to that universe, I think it is as good as harry potter, coming from a fan of the boy who lived that is saying a lot.
Now that I have introduced myself and know a little bit more about me, I will star about my progress through the Spins. I started playing at PartyPoker with 80$ of bankroll I managed to turn into 100$ and climbed to 1$ Spins with over 87 of ChipEV, that’s when I decided to leave PartyPoker and move to PokerStars because there I could use HUD to study my game better.
I had a difficult start on Stars because I lost 67BI on my first try, but with time and good play I managed to beat the variance and I was able to climb to Spins of 2$ where I’m now.
General statistics:

As we see in the image I managed to raise the ChipEV from 38 to 44 to be able to make sure that I already have beaten the level, not only for banking but for what counts which is the famous ChipEV, my EVROI I keep it low although I should have it at 4 at least but it is mostly because I managed to get out of one of the biggest downswing I've had so far in Spins and I think that if I stayed longer at 1$ I was going to raise it to 4% very easily because my ChipEV kept growing, the EV profit I also left it positive +1. 37$ (that's as a result of my ChipEV going up to where it should) and well for the end my Cbets I kept them great with 77.45 FLOP is because I became mega aggressive donking when I should and making quality Cbets, 63.04 TURN the same as on the flop and RIVER 49.46 which I think is perfect for Spins since I not only came with good hands but sometimes, I managed to get my quality bluffs that made me take the chips.
ChipEV:

Here we can better appreciate how I have improved my game since we can see the CHIPEV by positions, if you see the general statistics my ChipEV in 3H I kept it between 16.39 and 28.50 positive and my Chip EV in HU which is where the money is at a nice 27.50 which shows that I managed to polish even more my game and that made me win more Spins.
Now if we go even deeper we can see that my ChipEV for positions in 3H I keep it negative but I managed to shorten a lot those statistics to almost leave it at 0, obviously having a positive ChipEV run in BB must be a very difficult task and I do not know if it is really possible but in SB I managed to shorten the gap more than I expected that means that in the end if I managed to evolve my game and that makes me very proud because it was one of my biggest leaks.
The ChipEV in HU seems to me that it is perfect for the level both I have it positive because I became a degenerate when playing HU because I achieved the balance I was looking for in 1$ I mean I could be aggressive in the moments I needed and I stole chips like crazy adjusting my strategy and the table depending on the person I was playing with, I think I could raise it even more but well I am no longer at the level so I leave it there with an interesting result.
Pre-Flop Game:

Not much to say here, I think I ended up with good stats, I think the only thing I can improve a lot more is my VPIP of 45.43 I could have it at 50 or 53 but it's because sometimes I missed some limp/call or a RFI from the board. The fold to the 3bet at 67.99 seems perfect to me, I think I could lower that 0.99% and leave it at 67 nailed but I don't see it bad either.
FLOP:

I think my stats speak more than a thousand words, what amazes me the most about this part is my Cbet F Suc which is a percentage of the times I was successful making Cbet and leaving it at 51.11% seems great to me compared to when I started at $1, Donk F in 14. 52 shows my new level of aggressiveness at the tables and I think I could raise it even more but I need to study more and I need to understand even more the textures of the flop and the reading of the opponents to be able to know the exact moment when I could donk and make it an effective bet. Undoubtedly my Cbet FLOP of 77.45 shows that in the end if I achieved my goal of becoming more aggressive and with a 51.11% success rate means that I managed to evolve my game and I managed to understand even more the post flop game, I still have a lot to learn but I think I'm doing well.
Here I leave my final chip and money graph of the $1 Spins I played, inside the graph we can see a summary of my ChipEV, tournaments played and EVROI and the days I played in $1 Spins:

Chip Graph:

I have very few $2 Spins but this week I'm going to start putting in more volume as before since last week (holy week) I took a little vacation, but I'll leave here my total in money and chips:

Chip Graph:

I started this adventure with $80 bankroll and so far I managed to reach $346 but now as the variance has arrived to my game I'm with 273.25
I will update my blog every Sunday and show my progress of the week in chips and money!
