I did not have much information about the Button player except that they did not have a full stack, and I assumed that he could be a recreational player. On the flop and turn, I bet for protection and value against draws. On the river, I made a block bet with the intention of folding to a raise. Would it have been better to check/call on the river to induce the opponent to bluff with their missed draws? Also, are the bet sizes on the flop and turn appropriate, or should I have taken a different line?
