GG Poker - $0.25 NL FAST (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 153.52 BB
Hero (SB): 100.4 BB
BB: 86.8 BB
UTG: 113 BB
MP: 172.12 BB
CO: 101.4 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K♠ 5♠

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to 2.4 BB, Hero raises to 10.64 BB, fold, BTN calls 8.24 BB

Flop: (22.28 BB, 2 players) 6♠ 7♠ T♠
Hero bets 17.4 BB, BTN calls 17.4 BB

Turn: (57.08 BB, 2 players) 2♣

The villain seems to be a nit.

Thoughts?

If villain is a nit I would fold right away. I don't think you can profitable 3bet bluff against a tight open from the BTN
As played I would go for 3 streets of value with a shove on the river with the 2nd nuts.
I don't think you need to over bet shove the turn.

Cheers,

Against the tight nit, I feel like the shove on turn looks like a desperate attempt for FE.

Ok...What thoughts :f_biggrin:? Preflop I dont like polarized strategy for 3bet. But OK...Fine...Postflop... Cool.... What else we can do? At least I will use exactly the same sizes...Perfect for me...

Now, that is a stupid nit. Lamb...He should raise preflop, but OK, "trap". Or I dont know what exactly is this. "Fear" maybe...OTF he should fold or shove, better is fold for him, if he is so scared...OTT fold ...I do like now polarized 3bet vs such a guy :f_biggrin:...Without 4bet you can do whatever you want to do...And linear range for resteal will be bad. Because he dont have 4bet, very little...And AK, AQs, QQ, JJ, TT, those hands will be there. Also possible high FE pre and post and hands like КQ, TT, AJ will be bad for resteal...
