I decided not to 3bet the maniac pre because, well, he never folds to 3bet ever, and I also risk getting shoved on by something like 55.

Thoughts?

Agree with this. You could reduce the 3bet frequency with AK against such a players. Your FE is down to zero i guess.

As for your postflop play i am gonna ask why the shove? You got some reads?

Yes, absolutely, I knew that the maniac is not capable of folding two pair or set, and maybe even TPTK. I watched him closely in other big pots played against other players.

I prefer 3bet, can't be mistake.. He never folds vs 3bet? Cool..Fine by me...Use bigger size then. AKo is too strong..You see only PP in his range for shove? How many situations? Enough? If that's the case, OK then...If not, if he is capable of this, probably he will have some hands, which are dominated..I can't see how you will have less than 50% vs shove 4bet...

As played, I think big check-raise is better...Shove is too much..

What the f*** I'm reading. If he doesnt fold then you stop 3betting hands like suited connectors or weak Axs, not AK/AQ/KQ/AJ which dominates a lot of his calling range.

Enough with the curses please!!! Take it easy. You are not reading carefully

Even 63s has like 40% equity against AKo. No need to pump the variance without a good reason. Most people forget that AK is drawing type of hand and tend to overplay it. It's not a mistake to 3bet it but it's good to have FE as well.

So in this spot flatting is not that bad. It also disguise our hand.

Having stone cold nuts and reading V for a strong hand, your play could be justified. It's not an ordinary move indeed but it's no-limit holdem after all

AKo don't "need FE" at all...This hand have enough equity vs any real OR range...

Whatever real OR range means...

I also risk getting shoved on by something like 55.

Do you want explanation? Are you retarded or something? "Real" means any range form the reallity..Not some made range, only for such a topic for example, theoretical range. even vs 8% OR you have enough equity and you can 3bet even without FE, 0% FE...What about range with 63s in it!?

Even 63s has like 40% equity against AKo

And you can calm down with this 55 thing. Use larger letters, we can't see..."OMG, he can shove with 55, will be such a loss"...bullsh1t..
