Flop: ($5.35) 7♥ K♦ 8♦ (2 players)
cede2764 (CO) checks, Hero (BU) bets $1.77, cede2764 (CO) raises to $5.15, Hero (BU) calls $3.38

Turn: ($15.65) A♣ (2 players)
cede2764 (CO) checks, Hero (BU) bets $17.50

Turn line? Should we over bet here or bet low or check?
Was overbetting to charge flush draw or cooler sets. If his flop was a bluff raise or he has lower pocket pair than K I don't think bet size matters anymore as he folds all, even if I check turn and bet river.


I play on GGpoker even though it says Pokerstars. None of my hand histories will have villain stats.

Given ESS, I would 3bet pre to 12BB, 52% pot on flop, 78% pot on turn, and then shove river.

I think 3bet sizing is already big in position. $2 is already more than 3x.
As played I would bet around half pot on turn and river so deep.
If you over bet like now you get only action of 2 pair or better and I don't think those hands would check the turn and it's unlikely villain has a ace and you block the nut flush draw.

If villain would call against you're over bet you have a easy shove on the river I think.

What about ESS? How are you gonna try to get the villain's stack?

Not sure what ESS means, but I don't think we need to stack off with AA post-flop.
If villain has a decent hand it will happen anyway.
