I guess villain hits this board harder than hero in this hand. Hero has only a draw and if villain would raise you need to play for stacks and you need to hit the flush to win.

I doubt flop bet is bad by any means in reality. Villain check range is likely weaker than gto assumes and we will very likely face way less x-raises than it assumes.

Now it's interesting to know if my wild quess is correct or not.

I would be very cautious on this board as villain shouldnt have many x/f and can even x/r a lot if he is not cbetting frequently OOP. My general approach would be to xback hands like this and start bluffing when I will see check for second time.
