Hello all so I'm Back

after a few years' break im back, and how the poker scene has changed, for the better... just maybe

So I'm back to finish a task I didn't complete before, the intention is to climb to nl200 I gave up previously I made it to nl100 previously but never played any volume to find out if I had what it takes

This blog intends to log my progress keep me focused and help me take accountability for my play, feel free to get involved comments are all welcome

I've played a few hands NL5 and NL10 so far since I've been back over the last few days Graphs below (I know everyone loves a graph)

NL5

Nl10

2 tables or 4 ? That is the question my play is much better on 2 tables but the volume on 4 Hmmm have to figure this one out still (where my redline starts tanking in the pictures is with 4 tables it remains fairly level with just 2)

I'm playing Zoom Poker 6 max something similar to the BSS I have yet to re-read all the articles, I'm using GTO Wizzard but not religiously more to get some ideas and try to understand the optimum play, which for the most part I can understand but at these levels on micro stakes I think I'm better to exploit the pools,

I have already noticed just how passive these pools are, the players for the most part will only raise if your beat so overfolding is easy no need to call down with a second pair here or top pair, raised on the river with aces no improvement yep they more than likely got cracked

So questions for you guys

wheres the best image hosting for hosting images here

how many of you are in the pokerstars nl5 nl10 player pool

So after some analysis ive been looking for leaks in my game

Specific situation is RFI 22 - 88 Pocket pairs and then calling a 3 bet oop the graph speaks a thousand words lets get rid of that for now then ( 500bb in 50 spots)

Gameplan for the rest of the day

Play 2 tables for 2 sessions max 1k hands per session

Review Hands that I mark and post in here

trying to focus on ensuring that when I'm in a hand asking myself what I think the villain range is (yes at 5,10NL this is going to cause some head-scratching moments)
ensuring that I physically say out loud my plan for the hand on the flop rather than just clicking buttons

You can also drag you're picture file in to you're post and than the picture will be automatic uploaded. That's far the easiest way I think.
Only the red line looks bad, but winning without showdown is tough on the micro's when people doesn't like to fold to often.

Cheers,

Really appreciate that it was asking for a URL so this is much better and yes I'm working hard on improving the redline looking for leaks

Good luck with improving you're game. Off course you don't want to get a better red line if the overall profit will decrease.

So the other night I decided to scrap poker and watch some TV with the other half, plus EV for my relationship (was also experiencing some connection issues due to work being carried out in the area)

I managed to get a few hands in today I feel like I have played well just ran badly mixed in some NL10 and NL25

feel like the leaks I identified the other day have helped with my redline also helps being on NL25 where the villains do appear to have a fold button that must be missing on NL5

The aim for the Rest of the day is to study pre-flop vs 3 bet as my fold to 3 bet stat is a little high also to look where I can 3bet from the small blind a bit more as I feel that I may have a weakness here

other than that I'll try to get some more hands in and continue trying to make decent decisions

So I studied hard yesterday and then put in some reasonable volume today. The graph shows 2 days but it is because my session went past midnight here

I ran really well and made some decent folds a couple I'm not sure about but I think I was right to fold both of which the solver disagrees with my choice but then I'm not sure the solver is aimed at NL10 "fun" players almost all NL10 some NL5 mixed in at the start to warm up

so bit of an update

I tried nl 25 and took a 3 buy-in shot... didn't go so well just ran bad so I popped back down to nl10 where I'm running well and also seem to have improved my redline drastically now

NL25 ran KK into AA pre twice within a couple of hands and a set over set so 3 buy-ins were done within 100 hands..... ok NL25 I'm sure I can beat you but you slapped me back down to where I crush for now

NL10 this week
