Before hitting the tables, it's seriously worthwhile spending 5-10minutes configuring the GG Poker application to work for you. If you imagine that the poker application is a car, then you're not going to jump into the driver seat without adjusting it, putting on your seat belt, making sure the driver aids are enabled?

The GG software can do some nifty things for you - but they're not enabled by default! Imagine trying to drive a Bugatti Veyron without traction control. We're not talking "nice to have" features like lane assist or cruise control, that supplement your driving. We're talking the more essential features that when turned off are going to cause you to spin out on the next bend.
Imagine trying to drive to a new destination whilst plotting your route in a map book. We all used to navigate this way (okay, not whilst we're driving!) but now we don't have to. The car's built-in sat nav does it for us! Similarly, the features of the GG Poker app can do some mundane calculations on our behalf, leaving your brain to focus on the more important math.
