AQs 3b OOP vs unknown villain

I really recommend looking into the new beginner strategy for NL2 and NL5. It gives you very clear guidelines to start with shorthanded.

According to this strategy, the 3bet size should be 4 times when OOP, so 12bb instead of 10. On the flop the cbet is correct even when you missed the flop, on a Axx or Kxx board OOP we should cbet 1/2 pot.

With a made hand on the turn bet 1/2 pot again. On the river bet 2/3 pot with top pair, which is the same as putting villain all-in.

Played as recommended by the strategy, except for a few minor betting size differences. Unfortunate result.

A minor thing, maybe on this board Kxx the small cbet looks like a bluff and isn't believable, so maybe a little bit bigger cbet to look more like a value hand to make him fold? But no stronger hand would fold anyway right. But floats could fold. As played the rest is nice, on turn I would go also maybe a little bit bigger in size and river you could check-call to induce bluffs. But overall I think well played.

I would size up pre-flop as well. Flop is pretty coordinated. If you want to let villain fold something you could make it around 15bb if you made a 4x sizing pre-flop and than you can even shove against the short stack on the turn.
