I had this hand today.

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 1.25 Tournament, 15/30 Blinds (7 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

Button (t4080)
SB (t1740)
BB (t1455)
UTG (t1425)
MP1 (t1575)
Hero (MP2) (t1425)
Villain (CO) (t1800)

Hero's M: 31.67

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K♦, A♦
1 fold, MP1 calls t30, Hero bets t150, Villain calls t150, 4 folds

Hero bets t300, Villain raises to t1650 (All-In), Hero ?

Call, he has a weaker ace most of the time (eventually A8/A2). Then he can have 99-JJ and least likely a set.

Hi all,

120 pre and postflop is a bet/call.

Betting 200-250 on the flop is enough though.

Ok so you say call?

Thats what I did...

He had a set (22)

Bad luck. The thing about poker though, whether we're playing fixed limit, shortstack strategy, bigstack strategy, multitable tournaments or sit-n-goes is that we're playing against hand ranges in the longrun. If someone is making this move with any ace, and any set on the flop, we are making a huge mistake if we fold to his all-in (and consequently a huge profit in the longrun if we call). Don't be too worried about the actual results in individual hands.

I realise there is some luck involved in the game ;) I was just wondering if I had made a mathematical good call. It seems I did so I know dont have to worry about my play ;)

Thanks for the evaluation.
