Villan is the same as in the following hands:

NL100 AQ vs Spewfish
NL100 Straight on paired board against spewfish
NL100 74s SB vs BB

After folding to a bluff of his, losing a stack to him, and winning a stack back from him - we have been involved in several very large pots recently.

He has 51/10 stats or similar and capable of extreme aggression postflop. Generally his line against me and other players has been to call/call/shove river. He just lost a stack against me so I think he is slightly irritated.

So I raise and flop TPTK on a paired board. He raises me huge which is unlikely for him.

I think he could very well hold a deuce here since his preflop range is full of trash - but in all likelihood he doesn't have a deuce (at least in the past he would have just called a deuce). A ten, overcards or just random trash could just as well also be in his range.

The problem is that if I call or raise here I have to know that I am playing for 200BB with AT TPTK on T22 .. since he has no problems putting the rest of his stack in on the turn and river - even if he does only have air

$0.5/$1 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)

Known players:
[tg]MP2$76.80:///////;MP3(Hero)$198.50:///////;CO$199.20:///////;BU$44.39:///////;SB$19.00:///////;BB$101.50:///////;UTG2$26.00:///////;MP1$107.60:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with T:c, A:s.
3 folds, Hero raises to $4.00, CO calls $3.50, BU calls $4.00, 2 folds.

Flop: ($13.5) 2:c, 2:d, T:d (3 players)
Hero bets $8.00, CO raises to $37.50, BU folds, Hero ....

after playing him so many hands you should have some reads against that player
what his vpip/pfr/af. Does he often raise flops or only calls, does he flat overpairs pf. How often does he raises on paired boards?
General answer is fold. You don´t want to risk 200bb with tptk
if you decide to play then you should play for stacks, btw I´d like to do that a lot more with AA than AT, since he can also hold there JJ-KK and by playing for stacks is easy just 3-bet flop to 80-90$ and call shove or shove turn yourself

His stats are pretty meaningless since he is completely random. So overpairs could also be in his range (although unlikely) and he generally flats everything for 2 streets and raises the river. I have seen him flat air, pairs, and sets for 2 streets and then raise the river with them.

This is the first time he has raised before the river. He has no problem putting in his whole stack or probably two with whatever he is planning on bluffing on- so its either playing for stacks or fold.

i have not seen hands that u ve linked to: just vs random maniac:

i never ever fold tptk there and i love playing maniacs oop, coz that the good position to be in imo.. u just have to stay within the general mindset vs maniacs.. esp on these lims, where they usually senselessly are trying to put pressure until u just dont fold.. they are always repping double cards! esp deep

i am c here deffo, and either c/r or c/c again on turn depending on how connected it is.. on if c/c again /most prolly/, i c/c insta on any river besides maybe flushdraw hitting..

Waw, what a hand.

Even though he's a maniac I won't be willing to risk 200bbs when I've hardly risked 12bbs and I have only TPTK. Probably you are ahead a lot of times against his range that can be a lower T, a FD or just bluff, but he has changed his line being agressive on the flop and I think there are better spots to play for 200bbs.

IMHO the point is that this is a huge variance move and we can wait for better spots to ¿stack? the fish.

Kind regards,
Samy

PS: I haven't seen the other hands though.
EDIT: I thought my status would be diamond here. Don't take my opinion as a coach as I'm still playing NL100 most of the time.

Even though he plays ~50% of his cards there aren't that much combinations for a 2 in his range.
Even if you take A2s-T2s, 62s-32s and 22 that adds up to 28 combinations.
There are any2 broadway cards with a T in it in his range, T9o, T9s alls Txs down to T5, T7o, T6o, some 99-33 hands (ok that makes up for JJ+ but he 3bets some of those preflop).
Furthermore there are flushdraws.
Not to forget the countless number of hands he turns into a bluff without thinking about it.

The thing is your equity vs all the draws isn't that great at the flop and he will continue bluffing at the turn.
So i'd call the flop and c/rAI any safe turn (basically any non- :diamond:).
I'm definitely not folding this monster at the flop vs him.
