I probably shouldnt have bet the flop but I did think I was ahead because of villains stats, which are 75/8, and I did see him call with other crap hands before.
On the flop its pretty much a coinflip, and I didnt get lucky.
Any comments on how to avoid these situations? Or what to do on a 1 suit flush with a pair or set or ... but without the flop's suit in your hand

With TPTK you can confidently go broke here, there is not much else that you can do except you 2/3 pot-size cb. On this flop, as the board is very drawy and you are OOP it's alright to go AI directly (as long as your remaining stack is not too much bigger than the pot).
The fact that it's a coinflip is not bad at all, you are only investing $3.6 to win $6 so that you only need to win it 37.5% of the times to be break even.

Yeah,
Break even equity: investment/total pot
in this case 3.6/9.6 = 0.375 (or 37.5%)
If the board wasnt that all coordinated beside the mono suitness like K:d7:d2:d flop, you can bet like 55% as a cBet
But now I would shove as well but do not expect to be ahead in like a 80/20 win situation
