So I usually keep an excel sheet with me wins/loss at Pokerstars/Full Tilt/ and at a local brick and mortar casino. But I feel I am not learning anything from this and am only keeping good control of my bankroll. What self tracking strategies do other plays in the poker community use and how can I improve on what stats I'm keeping?

Is using Poker Tracker too obvious? I bought that before I ever played even one hand of online poker.

I use Poker Dominator online. It won't do what Poker Tracker does, but it gives you a good set of basic stats for winrates, games, and bankroll. It's superior (IMO) to the Card Player online service, and it's free!
