I think it's fine... I'm more inclined to just bet near pot on the turn, and let him shove or let him call and commit himself by the river. I don't really like scaring them off with an overbet... but that's just me.


when player is calling station then your play is fine
against some aggressive opponents who can fold I´d bet 1,2$ on the flop, 2/3 potsize on the turn and shove river
