Hand 1

PokerStars 2.00/4.00 Limit Hold'em (4 handed) HandRecorderv0.9b

Stats
BB (41/20/0,97/34)

Preflop: Hero is BU with 9♣, J♦
1 folds, Hero raises, 1 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 6♦, A♣, 5♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 2♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (5.25 BB) 9♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks\.

Final Pot: 5.25 BB.

Is this a valuebet on the river? With his line, I thought he could be on a weak A.

Hand 2

PokerStars 2.00/4.00 Limit Hold'em (5 handed) HandRecorderv0.9b

Stats
BB (47/7/1,09/34)

Preflop: Hero is SB with T♦, 7♦
3 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 7♣, 8♦, Q♣ (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 9♥ (2 players)
Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (6.75 BB) 2♠ (2 players)
Hero checks, BB checks\.

Final Pot: 6.75 BB.

What about a donkbet on the flop? How do you play the river? check/call or check/fold?

Hand 3

PokerStars 2.00/4.00 Limit Hold'em (5 handed) HandRecorderv0.9b

Stats
BB (39/16/1,65/44)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8♣, A♦
1 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) A♠, K♦, 5♠ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.25 BB) 7♠ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.25 BB) 8♦ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero ???

Final Pot: 6.25 BB.

How to react on the turn?
Valuebet on the river?

Hand 4

PokerStars 2.00/4.00 Limit Hold'em (6 handed) HandRecorderv0.9b

Stats
CO (unknown)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8♦, A♦
3 folds, CO raises, 1 folds, Hero 3-bets, CO calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 3♣, 9♣, A♥ (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 9♦ (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

River: (6.25 BB) J♠ (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Final Pot: 8.25 BB.

Too aggressive or really good? I'm not sure about the river. Even against worse A, I have a split and busted flushdraws can easily fold :(

Hand 5

PokerStars 2.00/4.00 Limit Hold'em (5 handed) HandRecorderv0.9b

Stats
BB (27/17/1,91/39)

Preflop: Hero is CO with T♠, A♠
2 folds, Hero raises, 1 folds, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 8♦, K♦, 3♥ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 6♣ (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks\.

River: (4.25 BB) 8♠ (2 players)
BB bets, Hero folds\.

Final Pot: 5.25 BB.

Here, I have problems with the flopaction after such preflopaction. When I'm behind, I normally 3 outs, so it wouldn't be a call. But sometimes I'm ahead and then I don't want to fold my hand.
When I stove this hand on the flop, I'm a 32 vs 68 underdog against his raisingrange. A Call looks fine with this percentages. But I can't call such hands on the turn :(
Is safing the small bet on the flop with a fold an alternative?

ok i will give it a try :P

1) he is not very aggressive so i like it but i think i would bet the river against unknown because i think an A would check/raise the flop oop after a BU preflop raise.
here it looks a bit like he plays wa/wb

2) really not sure about this one so wait for cirith
personally i like c/r flop, bet turn, c/f river

3) clear value bet for me after he checked

4) mh first i thought that its a clear value bet but i can´t see much worse hand which will call you... maybe TT ? i tend to check/call for bluff induce

5) most of time i fold those hands on the flop because i nearly always have to fold on the turn and that really sucks. not sure about this one.
another question to this hand: what about betting the turn for a free showdown + some foldequity ?

imho ;)

1) Could be but a 6 or 5 could be possible as well and that 2 (5, 6) to 1 (ace) so I bet/fold here.

2) Vs this guy I check/fold the river. Vs TAGs you can bet/fold the river because they often read you on a fd and call down with A-high but here I doubt that a TAG calls the river again with A-high. (could be wrong but its not a TAG here anyway ^^)

3) Bet/call the river. Turn could be a fd but a 3-bet is always ugly on a 3-suited board with tp.

4) HMm vs unknown its always a bit tricky. If he is a callingstation its a clear valuebet vs a TAG check/call is better and vs LAG its a bet again. My default is check/call here because he didn't cap preflop and JJ-KK is less likely.

5) Vs this guy it seems like a good play because he gives freecards on the turn (so taker a note and call him next time again and maybe try a bet on the turn too)
Vs most TAGs you can fold it very easily in my opinion because like you said you never get a freecard and you have to few out. (You are even behind a better ace)
His 3-bet erange is about: 77+, A9s+, ATo+. You are only ahead of one of this sample (A9s) and split vs two. (ATo, ATs)
The chance that a pp folds lower than the highcard is not very likely too.
Just my opinioon could be wrong again. ^^

Nice to have you commentating these hands too frzl. :)

yeah i´m surprised i like i too. its a bit ugly to "judge" hands at a limit which i didn´t beat myself yet ^^

But the "feeling" if you are correct is nice, isn't it? (I had that feeling after commentating 30/60$ ^^)
