Blinds 400/800 ante 100, I was on the bigblind, and some reasonable player raised it up to 2k from hijack and i pushed KJs with 5,5k. What do you think about my play? Should I make grummelers stop and go play?:) so called this and push any flop or simply fold or maybe my play is ok?

I was a little bit tired and didnt think a lot about this situation... but when i analyzed it at home, i thought that stop and go play would be the best in this situation.

What do you think?

hell yea nice situation for a stop and go play ! :)
pot preflop is 2000+400+900 ante = 3300 if you push for 5,5k the pot is like 8800 and he has to call 3500.
so he gets better then 2:1 odds for calling. -> no fold equity.
if you just call the bet the pot will be
2000+2000+400+900 = 5300 and you will have 3,500 left.
still not very much fold equity if you push any flop. but i guess you have more FE this way then to simply shve it pre.

In a live tourny, for certain your shove over is getting called so whislt it has merits I wouldnt shove in your spot.
I think therefore you have 2 choices, fold pre flop or stop and go and I think its a close one to be honest.
Maybe you have just about enough to make him fold if he misses so it is probably worth a shot. I guess you should shove any flop but my question for grummeler which i think i already know the answer to is, do you still shove if an ace hits the flop? If he has any ace, he is going to call so I suppose you work on the principle that he misses the flop 2 out of 3 times and hope he doesnt have the ace and shove anyway.
Personally online I would fold preflop but live I think stop and go is massive here as its not a play that is used often live.
