BB: $5.89
UTG: $6.12
UTG+1: $7.49
MP1: $9.70
Hero (MP2): $10.00
CO: $8.24
BTN: $8.16
SB: $2.86

Pre Flop: ($0.15) Hero is MP2 with Q :diamond: A :diamond:
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.30, 2 folds, SB calls $0.25, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.70) 4 :club: A :club: J  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.45, SB calls $0.45

Turn: ($1.60) 5  (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.80, SB raises to $2.11 all in, Hero calls $1.31

I am bothered I didn't fold on the turn since the villain had 55 and hit trips. But still, can someone tell me if this was the right call and did I bet correctly on the turn?

Hi,

You're pretty much forced to play it that way, you can't check that turn to him or you'll miss value against worse Ax/draws, and once you bet you get great odds when he shoves so you have to call it off unless he only has sets/AQ/AK, which isn't gonna be true for the overwhelming majority of the bad players out there.

I'd probably make it $0.5 on the turn and just shove the turn against his stack size tho, unless i knew i could induce a bluff shove on his part by betting weak, but i'm never folding.

Hope it helps.
