Impressive stats and graphs. I'm looking forward to reading more from your blog, currently trying to beat $1 SNG on PStars myself and should be a few hundred games away from going to $3 so it will be good to hear your experiences and check the variance before I arrive ! I'm also playing SSS on CakePoker to see how these games vary in $/hour to the SNGs, how have you found the difference ?

Hi Richard, nice stats so far. Good to see you have a conservative bankroll since as you pointed out they are horrible for variance. Hopefully I'll be able to follow your blog, I'm interested to see how you go in the higher limits. I found that the $30 STs are almost unbeatable at certain times of the day, that + the variance put me off them. Also, try to include the 45 man STs in the mix as they are hugely profitable. yer I hated SSS and sucked at it. Made like $150 after 60k hands mainly nl10 n bout 20k of that was nl25. Most of that $150 was rakeback. I don't think pokerstars was the ideal site for SSS theres too many other shortstacckers. Regarding $1 sngs I have never played them because although there really soft I just hate the rake on them normally 20%. the donk factor is exactly the same at $3 with less rake so I reckon you should take shots if you feel you can beat $1 very easily.

when you say unbeatable... what about break evenable?lol.. cus I was thinking of rake back hoaring these at higher limits.$30 are $2 rake. play 200 thats $400 in rake for one day and $108 per day. Not bad profit whilst building a br. I can normally cover 200st in about 4/5hours, 5/6 times a week. ~$500 a week tax free (I love england) not bad for 25-30 hours a week just until I can back to uni.

All thoery ofcourse, whats your thorts having already played this limit?

also do you mind me knowing your pokername so I can sharkscope you and filter your $30ST results. I like looking at peoples stats at limits above me so I can gage the profitablity of them games.

only played a couple 2day. Having problems lately with my eyes hurtin after about 2/3hours into a session. sometimes ill soldier through. I mean I have a sick grind mentallity but I have to stop after 4/5 hours because of this problem

Anyone had similar problems when playing for along time or should I seek medical help?

I did while playing supers.
I think it is because you analise loads of things in a few split seconds. Like you check stack sizes bet sizes your cards etc and you are doing this every second or two, constant eye movement.

try adjusting your monitor brightness or contrast settings. sometimes if its too dull or too bright it can affect you after a while.

They are certainly breakevenable, I have seen a few mass grinders running maybe 2-3%ROI so if you know the limit well enough they could be fairly profitable with rakeback. I blocked my sharkscope but I think I was running around 1-2% over a 2-3K games on the $30s but gave up because I hated the variance. I had 50-60BI swings which obviously can can cause you to tilt eating into the tiny ROI. I didn't have HEM at the time so that might also help pick the ranges of the regs as well as the fish and increase profits. I am considering giving the $75 STs a go when I build the bankroll high enough, they seem soft because of the tokens but I imagine the variance would still suck.

Ok had a rough couple of break even days. Just breaking even, swinging 10-20 up and around my $720 figure. I guess I cannot complain as 50 buy in swings are a regular occurance in these games.

Well anyway just finished off on a nice little heater bringing my roll back up to $830 with it been Friday I should also be gettin last weeks rakeback which should be around $100. Bringing me up to ~$900. Roi has dropped down to 6% over a 1.2k sample.

anyone else played these games? I have skype so add me airpoket123 if ya wana sweat a session or talk theory. I can also talk to anyone about low buy in turbos 9/10man.

ahhhh had a nice confidence building day today. Played just a few today because I broke the 1k barrier and I like starring at my bankroll lol. Don't want to risk playing anymore today because I like starring at it for time being :P.

summary of the week. Well it was last Friday night when I deposited $250. I didn't start playing properly till the next day so earnings for this week have been $765including rakeback earnt saturday-monday. Monday to the present I have earnt ~$74 worth of rakeback. Thus bringing total esimated earnings for this week of $839. In my countries currency that works out as £520. A very nice wage packet for 3/4hours a day work. Not bad first week as a semi pro playing $7.50 ST's.

Also earnt 6250FTP (whatever these are worth).

should gain silver medal status ashame I can't get iron man for this month but deffo will next week. With iron man plus and silver total medals earnt is 53 with the possibility of earning a few more next week.

anyone any idea how much the above is approx worth?
