i checked my emails today and there was one from security asking when the best time to contact me is. is this a normal proceedure? i thought i only had to send my ID off?
i told them they can call anytime does anyone know how long it will take?

yes, i've been called aswell. Its normal, they'll just ask you a few personal questions, the ones you filled in the form. plus i've got a sexy voice female, so i chated longer ♦ anyway, dont worry

when i registered i put my mobile number in but i dropped it the other day and broke the battery clip so cant use it i put my home number in the reply email to them. this wont make a difference will it?

As other members already mentioned, the phone check is a part of the standard procedure. I am sure that that you will not face any problems if you explained the phone number situation to the support :).
