I wouldn´t really raise/fold set deep, since he would likely also shove there AK
If you´re not comfortable getting it all-in you can always just call him down

I don't like raise-fold either, because I never want to fold this hand. However, I don't feel that there are many hands that would want to play for stacks here that I beat. Therefore, I have decided that I like the calldown more.

I have stacked off twice since these new tables have opened, and I realized that in both cases I had the fourth nuts, and my opponent had the third nuts when the money went in.

First time had 88 and openraised, then called a 3bet that came out of the blinds. Flop came:

Flop: ($5.55) 6:d, 7:h, 8:s (2 players)

And I got it all in with top set. the BB turned over 54s for the third nut straight. The board didn't change on the turn or river and I stacked off.

In a 100bb game, both of these hands play themselves, and you just get your chips into the middle, then get some bad news, and it isn't a big deal.

However, at a 250bb table, they must play differently, right? Do we just call-down when we're in position, assuming that the pot is big enough for our hand by the river? The problems is, if we put in that extra valuebet, we could face a shove that leaves us in the dark.

I've been profiting at these new tables, but I'm kind of annoyed with myself for these two stack-offs, and wonder if they could have been prevented.

678 it is a littlebit different situation, because he can also ahve there bottom set and against straights you have 33% equity. So not really sure if you can get away your hand that case
