No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed)

MP1 ($61.60)
MP2 ($61.55)
MP3 ($51.30)
CO ($24.90)
Button ($28.55)
SB ($28.80)
Hero ($10.25)
UTG ($86.90)
UTG+1 ($37.05)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5♥, K♥.
UTG calls $0.50, 6 folds, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($1.50) K♦, 4♥, 9♠ (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks.

Turn: ($1.50) 6♥ (3 players)
SB bets $1, Hero raises to $3, UTG folds, SB folds.

Final Pot: $3.50

Top pair + strong flush draw on the turn...worthwhile raise?

Thanks,
Kknight

With 14 Outs, I like that play. 3-handed Sets often give action on the flop. As a semi-bluff I really like it. But against a Push I might would consider to fold. If he calls and I do not improve I check behind on the River, if I hit I push.

Nice hand. :)

I would've expected a bet from another K as well, which is part of the reason I felt comfortable raising here.

I agree and that's how I planned on playing it.
