So I had this idea that we could colaborate in posts with our own Murphy's rules about poker. I thought about this after I had 2 days of INCREDIBLE losses to donk bets, being rivered by full-houses when holding A high flush, that sort of thing. Looked like a conspiracy. haha
This way each one of us can contribute with ONE or MORE rules on the replies. In the end I'll compile all of them and send as a new post. We could make hundreds of rules this way.
Let's get started!
#1 Whenever you raise pre-flop out of position with TT+ and get called by a donk, the donk's chances of rivering a flush or full-house are gonna double against you.
#2 Flop Top Set (AAA) on a rainbow board which reads A

and get check/raised all in by villain holding J4, only for the turn to come a 3 :club:, and the river a 5 :heart:...

1.Whenever you open OOP with PP <AA overcards will apear on the flop and villain will have at least one of them.
2.If you cbet with middle PP pair in 3-way pot and get minraised you will hit set on turn 90% of the time.

True for me today ♦ Every JJ, QQ or KK has had an overcard on the flop. And my AA all just picked up the blinds haha.
every time u hit top set on the flop and act cool and slow play, villian will hit runner runner every time
If three of a suit appear on the board, villain has one, will chase it to the end, and hit just over 80% of the time.
The longer you go without AA the higher the probability that everyone will fold to you when you finally get it on the BB.
No matter where you play there's always 1 french noob that will crack your AA with 72o
Getting AA on the Button the first hand back after a break when the bubble is about to burst leads to a suckout and an exit from the tournament.
Whenever you chase your Ace high flush and hit it, as long as there is one+ donk in the pot and the board is paired, you can already give up the pot. The chances of the donk have filled the house with your flush card are just too great. Be wise.
