Bet $0.75 on the flop.

Turn pot would be $2.45... bet $2.2 there.

River pot would be $6.85... and his rest stack will be $6.65 so jam.

I know this is easier said then done, especially after the hand has actually played but the problem with the river action is that he will shove his better hands on the river if you bet (55, KK) but he might be able to just flat his 8x hands there, or even worse flushes. In other words you're going broke against better but you might not be stacking him if you've got the better hand while there's almost no way for him to ever fold 8x or a flush here if you go all-in on the river (not on these stakes at least). So the more you can bet on the river, the better.

As played, I'm bet/calling the river. You have to bet the river for value from 8x & weaker flushes as I already said but there's no way you can fold vs his raise cause you're pot commited and you can't be sure he doesn't overplayed said weaker flushes or 8x hands.

yes, I like how you played it
