I've seen this villain play a bit and he seems borderline maniac. He does lots of re-steals and bets often, but he does seem to know how to fold when he's beat. I knew he has a wide range from CO, so an overpair definitely wasnt a guarantee.

It worked out for me, but looking back, I'm not convinced that it was actually the right move to call all-in. What do you think?

Hi,

If he's really being aggressive on his own I'd give him a chance to c-bet his air on such a dry board that he's likely to have whiffed completely. Probably check/call down or check/call flop check/jam turn unless he gives up on the turn often, which it doesn't look like he would.

Sure it's the right move to call all-in once you get to that point. Even against an overpair you still have about 1 outs and from what you know from villain he could shove worse pairs as well as completely spazz out with overcards or something. Once you induced a jam by donking out you're not going anywhere.
